Aneesahmed M. Kagzi, Chairman & Managing Director of General Technologies, is a result-oriented leader with over 26 years of experience in driving product, process, and customer service improvements while building partnerships with key business decision-makers. He has a strong track record of success in turnaround and high- paced environments. He has been awarded ‘World Leader businessperson’ for being a successful leader who works in an innovative, knowledgeable and collaborative manner.

Transformation of General Technologies

In 2016, the company went through a 360 Degree transformation from an IT reseller to a solution-driven system integrator. During this time, Aneesahmed joined hands with Mr. Afzal Modak to buy an amazing Global corporate office at Vashi. “We developed the technology innovation Lab that invited and incubated ideas in the new age of India. There was a need to create a knowledge center and train people to address the challenging technical requirements of the digitization of India. The government’s strategy of digital India was a complex mix of smart cities, GST, E-Invoicing, Eway Bill, digital payments, and all this possible with cutting-edge technologies. At General Technologies, we played a crucial role in building this foundation of affordable and deliverable technologies,” says Aneesahmed.

The company will start providing SAP Training at its Vashi center. This will not only ensure quality education and knowledge of the SAP ecosystem but will also create job opportunities with a skilled workforce. Today, SAP is essential for the success of every manufacturing organization as it is the leading ERP company. The interlock between GT and SAP is surely going to be a game changer for GT in the coming years. Also, it will embark on an AI & ML training journey in the coming quarters.

General Technologies has conceptualized a new terminology in IT managed services, Business-as-a-Service (BaaS GT), that allows enterprises to run their entire IT as a service. “BaaS GT is not just about technology – it is a paradigm shift. It presents new economic models that companies can use to provide IT and services,” he adds.

GT understands the essence of ecological balance & sustenance and hence has started the refurbishing of IT Devices to cater to the Used IT markets in India. They are licensed to refurbish; GT takes the opportunity to Go Green and create an ecological impact by trying to reduce E-waste. Future Endeavors

India is looking at USD 5 Trillion economies in the coming years and General Technologies is contributing to the IT industry in the country. The company started with a 20 Cr revenue and reached 120 Cr revenue in the year 2022. By 2025, they are expecting to grow to 700 CR Y-O-Y with the help of 500+ highly qualified and trained resources. The industry is at an inflection point, and undoubtedly General Technologies looks to stand out in a leading position. With the urge of growing to 700 Cr revenue, GT has a strong pipeline and a formidable order book that will enable it to outperform exuberantly. General Technologies is growing across world regions including the US, UAE, Oman, and more. These regions are served by GT through offshore operations from India.
